Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust provides a broad range of community and inpatient mental health services, community services (including therapies), learning disability services, healthy lifestyle support and addictions services to people living in Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire, a large geographical area which is home to approximately 600,000 people.
The Trust also provides specialist services for children, including physiotherapy, speech and language therapy and support for children and young people and their families who are experiencing emotional or mental health difficulties.
Our specialist services, such as forensic support and offender health, support patients from the wider Yorkshire and Humber area and from further afield.
The Trust also runs Whitby Hospital, a community hospital providing inpatient, outpatient and community services to Whitby and the surrounding area, and eight GP practices - two in Hull and six in the East Riding of Yorkshire.
We employ approximately 3050 staff across more than 70 sites at locations throughout Hull, the East Riding of Yorkshire and Whitby. Job Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit dedicated, enthusiastic and innovative individuals to join an evolving team providing Low Intensity Psychological Interventions. Working as a PWP within the East Riding Talking Therapies Service you will deliver therapy to the population of the East Riding of Yorkshire via telephone, webcam and face to face.
We are an Accredited Service with an excellent reputation and an impressive record of meeting the required Talking Therapies National and Local standards.
The Service offers a fantastic package for CPD to maintain registrations.
We are a Lead Provider of Talking Therapies in the East Riding and work closely with our partner providers.

The Post Holder Will
* Be registered with the BABCP as a PWP
* Manage a caseload of patients with mild to moderate common mental health problems via telephone, video/webcam, groups and online CCBT and face to face;
* Make decisions on suitability of new referrals, working to the departments referral protocol;
* Conduct routine assessments;
* Engage in regular clinical and managerial supervision (individual and group);
* Attend regular caseload management;
* Support to attend dedicated CPD days;
* Attend regular online business meetings;
* Support a diverse population across the East Riding.

This post will be subject to successful completion of a 6 month probationary period where applicable, further details would be included within any offer letter.
Where operationally feasible the Trust supports agile working, there is an expectation of attendance of 1 day per week at a Trust site as a minimum operationally. Unless specifically stated in the advert that a role will have home as the base of work, all roles will have the option to work from a Trust base if remote working is not for you.
If required for the post the ability to commute within the Trust's geographical area with access to the appropriate means of transport would be essential.

Essential criteria
* Qualification from PWP Training Course (Post Graduate Certificate in Low Intensity therapy)
* Demonstrates an understanding of anxiety and depression and how it may present in Primary Care
* Be registered as a PWP with the BABCP
Desirable criteria
* Demonstrates an understanding for the need to use evidence based psychological therapies and how it relates to this post
Experience
Essential criteria
* Evidence of working with people who have experienced a mental health problem
* Demonstrates high standards in written communication
* Able to write clear reports and letters.
Desirable criteria
* Worked in a service where agreed targets in place demonstrating clinical outcomes
* Ability to manage own caseload and time
* Experience of working in Primary Care Services
