Your New Role The company is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer to support continued growth and development. Working in a busy factory environment at our headquarters and manufacturing facility in Antrim, your main duties will be undertaking various preventative maintenance and repair tasks on a range of equipment, providing support where required within the factory. Whilst on shift your core duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Installing, modifying and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, including CNC Routers, Saws, Sanders, Extraction, Presses, Spray equipment, etc. • Inspecting machinery, examining drawings or specifications • Responding immediately to equipment breakdowns • Fixing faults or arranging for replacements to be installed • Carrying out routine servicing schedules • Keeping production managers informed of progress • Collating and suggesting continuous improvements. What You'll Need To Succeed In order to be considered for this position you will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills, experience and qualifications: Education : Completed an appropriate mechatronics or electrical apprenticeship or equivalent HNC / NVQ3 certificate in mechatronics / electrical engineering. Technical Competence/Ability : Proven track record in fault-finding and repair of CNC Machines and controllers (both mechanical and electrical faults) • PLC experience would be advantageous • Experience working with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems • Good understanding of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic & pneumatic drawings • Good mechanical aptitude • Flexibility to work additional hours to complete business critical repairs • Complying with the appropriate Health & Safety standards including PPE. What You'll Get In Return This role provides a highly competitive salary of up to £40000 for working an attractive shift pattern on days (Mon - Thurs: 08:00 - 17:00 Fri: 08.00 - 13.00).
