Palantir & or use of AI Technologies is a massive plus!
As a Consultant Engineer, which the roles consist of three elements (hands-on engineering work, stakeholder management/consulting expertise & upskilling/mentoring those more junior), you’ll drive strategic advisory, engineering delivery, and enablement services for government and commercial clients.
With Palantir at the core of its operations, you’ll tackle user challenges by uniting source and captured data into a cohesive foundational model while developing operational workflows that elevate enterprise decision-making. This opportunity is more than a job—it's a chance to contribute to the growth of a dynamic, ambitious company rooted in strong ideals. You’ll collaborate with seasoned engineers and rising talent across diverse projects, gaining practical experience in data management, analytics, and cutting-edge AI technologies.
Why this company?
This company has seen significant growth across their technical department, resulting in the company bringing on 2-3 hires per month! They've been overwhelmed with the amount of business won over the last 12 months (80% defence, 20% central government). Unable to keep up with the demand for their service, they're turning down pieces of work. Their business model is quality over quantity, so unless they're able to provide an impeccable service, they just won't give their time - which has resulted in high retention rates of their clients.
Role requirements
1. Analyse and design solutions for client challenges by interpreting their requirements and exploring the data landscape.
2. Contribute to the creation, development, and upkeep of data pipelines and ETL processes, constructing data and action models that meet workflow requirements.
3. Develop and refine operational workflows, including front-end interfaces and decision-support toolsets, utilizing both native Palantir tools and integrated front-end systems.
4. Partner with team members to apply AI and machine learning models to address user challenges effectively.
5. Pursue ongoing personal development and actively participate to share technical knowledge and best practices, including mentoring peers and junior engineers.
6. Collaborate closely with clients to build strong, lasting relationships, positioning yourself/us as their "trusted advisor."
