Job Description
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established independent firm of accountants with over 30 years of experience, who are looking to hire a Senior Accountant/Manager for their Sheffield office. This firm offers a supportive work environment and manages a diverse client portfolio.
This role presents a great opportunity for a skilled accountant to take on a senior position within a respected firm, gaining exposure to a wide range of audit and accounting functions while working alongside an experienced and collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Managing a portfolio of clients across a variety of industries
2. Assisting with client audits from planning through to completion
3. Preparing statutory accounts and management accounts
4. Producing management information and financial reports
5. Handling corporate and personal tax compliance
6. Providing training and advice on accounting software
7. Offering commercial business support and consultancy
8. Assisting in staff development and training
Skills and Experience Required:
1. ACA or ACCA qualified
2. Minimum of 5 years experience in the accountancy profession
3. Prior audit experience is highly desirable
4. Strong technical skills in audit, tax, and financial reporting
5. Excellent communication and leadership skills
