FreshLinc Group Ltd specialise in the total supply chain management of temperature controlled fresh, chilled and horticultural products. We are based at Pinchbeck, nr Spalding Lincs.
We are currently seeking to recruit an enthusiastic person to join our busy Fleet Department.
Key Responsibilities:
* Responsible for the allocation and data entry of purchase order numbers relating to work instructions to contractors.
* Challenging supplier costs and ability to negotiate prices.
* Investigate and resolve queries relating to outstanding work instructions.
* Maintain and update spreadsheet records.
* Assist with telephone enquiries.
* Provide administrative support to Fleet department colleagues.
* Managing defects and organising repairs with onsite technicians.
* Entering service dates and information on the maintenance system.
* Liaising with traffic operators on maintenance bookings/breakdowns.
* Undertake special projects as and when directed.
* Planning and scheduling vehicle and trailer maintenance.
Person Specification:
* Experience of working within Transport/Traffic Office.
* Vehicle maintenance and fleet management would be preferable.
* Good understanding of Math’s and English.
* Confident IT user.
* Knowledge of excel spreadsheets.
* Excellent communication skills and able to work with all types of personalities.
* Flexible and reliable.
* Possess a “can do attitude”.
Working Hours:
* 48 basic hours according to a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.
* Some Saturday morning work is required as directed by business needs.
