Who You Are You possess expert knowledge of welfare, the Homelessness Reduction Act, housing and homelessness policy, case law, legislation, and practice. You are well-versed in the workings of courts, possession orders, and evictions. Additionally, you hold specialist knowledge in homelessness decision-making and are familiar with safeguarding vulnerable adults and children. What the Job Involves As part of the Front Door Team Service, you will assist applicants threatened with homelessness or those already homeless to sustain their current accommodations or find suitable private rented housing. You will provide expert advice and work collaboratively with partners to prevent or delay homelessness, striving to avoid temporary accommodations or street homelessness. Specifically, you will work closely with families, courts, solicitors, and Enfield’s legal department to prevent homelessness, in alignment with Enfield’s Early Help strategy and to improve housing resilience and sustainment.
