Salary: Grade H. Scale 29 - £38,626 to Scale 34 - £43,693 with a professional bar at SCP 31 £40,476**

The Role
We are looking for enthusiastic and highly motivated individual with excellent technical accounting and communication skills, wishing to progress their career by gaining valuable experience in the Pensions Accountancy section.
Greater Manchester Pension Fund (GMPF) is a regional pension fund that administers the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS). It is run by Tameside MBC and is based in Droylsden.
GMPF is one of the largest pension funds in the country and is the largest LGPS fund in the UK. We have over 414,000 members, over 600 employers and last year paid out over £880 million in benefits.
About You
The successful candidate will be required to carry out a varied range of financial management and accountancy tasks. This presents an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to take the next step in their accountancy career and to further develop your investment, accountancy and management skills.
The ideal candidate will be AAT qualified and will also have made progress towards CCAB qualification.
