About the Placement We are offering three placement opportunities to work across all aspects of our Physical Performance department across the 2025-26 season. These are brilliant opportunities for candidates who have a desire to learn, a strong work ethic and offers an insight into future career pathways in a high performance professional sport environment. These placements are suitable for students who are looking for an industry placement for the third year of their Sport Science or Sport & Exercise Science BSc. Key tasks/responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Physical Performance Responsibilities Assist with physical testing Assist and delivery of gym sessions Assist and delivery of pitch-based training sessions Assist with nutritional strategies Assist in match day support Data Responsibilities Assist in the set up and collection of player wearable technology pre and post individual/group training / rehab and team training Assist in the Live clipping of U18, U21 and 1st Team training to keep aligned process across the PDP and 1st Team Assist in the production of daily and weekly training and rehab overviews for the U18, U21 and 1st Team within 2 hours post session Assist in the collection of individual physical data (GPS & Playermaker) from U12 to U16 in both training and matches Assist in the maintenance of data master sheets and performance dashboards for key stakeholder use Assist in the collection of individual physical & technical data for the Academy PhD project Other Complete a research project designed to innovate working practices or understanding in a key area Execute additional tasks as required to meet the football club’s changing priorities Take part in a bespoke CPD program in a professional football club How to Apply Don’t miss out on this fantastic opportunity to join the Canaries, follow the link here and click ‘Apply’ now.
