The role
As a Training Supervisor, you’ll ensure the quality, consistency, and effectiveness of training initiatives while managing daily team operations and providing support for staff development.
Day-to-day, you’ll be responsible for leading a small team of trainers to deliver effective training programs which align with the customer and organisational goals to enhance employee performance and service delivery.
* Monitor and evaluate training sessions
* Identify gaps in training content and recommend improvements
* Lead and mentor a team of trainers
* Coordinate team schedules, workloads and priorities
* Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs)
Please note that the successful candidate will be required to pass a targeted medical questionnaire and/or medical examination as a condition of employment for this role.
This role is full time, 42 hours per week and is based on site at Capenhurst. Typically, your hours of work will be Monday – Friday however, due to the site operational hours there may be a requirement to work outside of office hours, evenings and weekends.
Essential experience of the Training Supervisor:
* Experience in Conflict Management, Incident Management or Command and Control
* Proven experience in training, training delivery, facilitation, and assurance
* Experience and knowledge of working with Emergency Services, including Fire and Rescue
* Strong Security knowledge and operational experience or working in the Nuclear Industry
* Problem Solving skills with an ability to assess training needs and develop relevant solutions, have a critical thinking mindset with experience in monitoring performance metrics and KPIs
Qualifications for the Training Supervisor:
* Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET) - Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTLLS) is highly desirable. If you do not have this as a minimum qualification, you’ll agree to completing within the first 12 months of employment in the role
* Formal management qualification at Level 4 or above or time-serviced experience
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
