Job Description
As a Purchase Ledger Clerk will be responsible for:
* Accurately processing invoices and completing payment runs.
* Reconciling supplier statements and handling queries.
* Handling petty cash and processing staff expenses.
* Assisting in the preparation of month-end reports.
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date vendor files and file numbers.
* Preparing analyses of accounts, as required.
* Supporting the wider finance team as required.
* Complying with all company and governmental financial regulations.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Purchase Ledger Clerk should have:
* A strong understanding of accounting principles.
* Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel.
* Knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
* The ability to work with large volumes of data.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
