Environmental Health Officer/Regulatory Services Officer (2 posts)
Salary: £47,210 - £51,663 per year. Closing Date: 1 April 2025
As a result of internal promotions, we have two posts for an Environmental Health Officer based in Dunoon and Oban. These posts carry out the full range of environmental health duties and provide the opportunity for professional and personal development, as well as a rewarding job working in the beautiful west coast of Scotland. Consideration will be given to newly qualified Environmental Health Officers, those preparing to sit their professional examinations, or from Regulatory Services/Food Safety Officers able to fulfil the REHIS alternative pathway to become an EHO.

Regulatory Services Officer
Salary: £37,082 - £41,261 per year. Closing Date: 3 April 2025
We are looking to welcome an experienced officer to our team based in the beautiful coastal setting of Oban. You will be experienced in Local Authority or similar, Environmental Health regulation or enforcement. Your field of work could be general public health, health and safety, food safety, or cover the range of environmental health topics. As we operate in small and friendly area-based teams, you will have the opportunity to increase the range of topics you cover should you wish. Given our location, you will need to enjoy travelling for work, which includes travel to some of our islands and communities, such as those on Mull, Coll, and Tiree.
