Auger are looking for someone to join our team and successfully execute all of the technical & customer service aspects of drainage, watermains, subsidence & off-mains drainage for household and commercial insurance claims. As an insurance claims technician at Auger, you will oversee insurance claims in a timely & cost effective manner whilst maintaining high levels of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
* Project Planning: Developing comprehensive project plans, defining objectives, determining timelines, and creating budgets. Creating a coherent schedule of works.
* Customer Service: Helping Auger to maintain first class service delivery. Managing customers expectations and improving customer satisfaction throughout the lifecycle of a claim. Keeping all involved parties informed and seeking authority where applicable about project progress, scope or cost changes, and challenges being faced.
* Resource Allocation: Managing resources efficiently, including materials, equipment, and labour, to ensure seamless project progression while adhering to budget constraints.
* Risk Management and Health & Safety: Identify potential risks, develop proactive mitigation strategies, and enforce stringent health and safety protocols to ensure a secure work environment for all stakeholders.
* Cost Control: Quoting against our agreed schedule of rates, ensuring that jobs are profitable and cost-effective throughout the project lifecycle.
* Quality Assurance: Implementing quality standards and ensuring we operate in line with Auger's Work Instructions, WRC handbook, WRAS guidance, building regulations compliance, and any other applicable regs/guidance.
* Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed project documentation, generating comprehensive reports to track progress, milestones, and compliance requirements.

Preferred Experience:
* Experience in Customer Service/Claims Management
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* Experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, demonstrating successful management of similar responsibilities.
* Good leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
* Relevant certifications or degrees in project management or construction-related fields are advantageous.
You will be supported by our senior leadership team who will give you the guidance and development opportunities you need to be successful in the role. Auger will facilitate acquisition of professional qualifications such as CILA, CII or other relevant qualifications that suit your chosen development path.
Training includes but is by no means limited to:
* Technical report writing
* Quoting/pricing
* Proposing repair schemes
* Use of CAD for technical drawings
* Underground service-specific technical skills in drainage, water mains and subsidence
* Project management
Prerequisite:
* A clear basic DBS check
