* Adherence to NSG/Pilkington Standards of Business Conduct and its Values and Principles.
* Work in compliance with all safety rules and regulations.
* Ensure 5S, Housekeeping and Workplace Organization meet NSG Standards.
* Understand current/potential expedites during shift.
* Responsible for efficient operation of stores materials.
* Understanding of current customer condition to ensure proper flow of standard delivery, expedite mode, critical deliveries.
* Daily printing of TMNA manifests and KANBANS.
* Identify, develop, and implement improvements to reduce costs, reduce waste, and improve area effectiveness.
* Assist with COGI errors and regular Cycle counting.
* Receive and put away components physically and systematically.
* Occasionally ship components to other NSG plants as directed.
* Cross Training with other Materials Team associates to ensure adequate absentee coverage.
* Work with all internal and external customers/Suppliers to manage inventory accuracy to support production scheduling/customer shipments/company asset management.
* Utilize NSG systems on daily shipments/reports and inventory.
* Work with planning/scheduling on component requirements.
* Constant communication with customers and suppliers/buyers to assist in resolving issues.
* Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required:
* Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a manufacturing setting.
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
* Excellent customer relations and communication skills (written and verbal).
* Proficient in the English language (verbal and written).
* Excellent Problem-Solving Skills.
* Transportation experience, international and domestic.
* Ability to utilize a computer-based inventory control system.
* Proven ability to participate in a create positive work environment including team building, problem solving, and conflict resolution skills.
* Assist where required for mentoring and training.
* Ability to work independently. Strong Analytical Skills.
* Ability to use multiple customer Portal systems.
* Well developed interpersonal, verbal and writing skills.
* Without assistance, must be able to occasionally lift, carry, push and/or pull objects weighing from 1 to 70 lbs.
* Experience with SAP/MRP systems.
* Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
* Manufacturing/Inventory Control/Automotive experience.
* Experience receiving and shipping functions.
* Ability to work extra hours based on business needs.
