We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Derby to assist with the appointment of a Call Handler/Responder, on a 3-month contract, likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: £12.74 - £16.07 per hour
Responsibilities:
Call handling services
Responding to emergency situations including lifting uninjured customers using specialist equipment provided. (Full training provided)
Carrying out safe and well checks to support vulnerable people living in the community.
Installing and maintaining emergency call equipment in customers homes
Qualifications:
A knowledge and commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable adults(HCC)
Knowledge Of Telecare/ Community Alarm
Experience of working in a caring environment/caring for others
Experience of working in a customer focused working environment.
Experience of working within a collections or call centre environment
Required Skills & Abilities:
Ability to communicate effectively face to face, over the phone and in writing
Ability to use IT systems to maintain up to date and accurate records
Excellent communication and negation skills at all levels, including contractors, clients, suppliers and customers, to ensure best value services are provided
Accurate In The Input Of Data To The Computer System
Familiarity with computers and basic keyboard skills, (Word, Excel) and the ability to learn bespoke systems
