Glasgow City Council is seeking to recruit highly motivated and dynamic staff who have a passion for working with children and young people with additional support needs. You must be committed, passionate, and a well-qualified staff member. Ideally, you are digitally skilled and have an ASN background. We will support you to inspire the learning of our children and young people within the additional support for learning sector.
Teaching duties: Supporting the delivery of Curriculum for Excellence across all ages and stages within the additional support for learning schools. In addition to the range of teaching and other duties outlined in the job specification, we are looking for individuals who enjoy working collegiately with colleagues and who have a firm commitment to improving outcomes for Glasgow's young people with additional support or complex learning needs.
We are seeking to recruit to the following positions: Langfaulds LCR - 21 Hours – Permanent; St Charles LCR – 21 Hours – Permanent; St Joseph's ENB – 2 x 28hrs – Permanent.
Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme will be essential upon taking up appointment, along with GTCS registration. Please note that successful candidates for the above positions will be required to pay for their PVG membership or scheme checks.
In line with section 21(2A) of the Education (Scotland) Act 1980, the successful candidate for this post will require RC approval.
