Leading a Quality Function in Chilled Food Manufacturing
We are collaborating with a renowned chilled food manufacturer to find an experienced and proactive Quality Manager.

Our client seeks an individual who can lead their quality function, ensure compliance with all food safety standards, and drive continuous improvement across their operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage Quality Systems:
o Oversight and development of the company's Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with BRC, HACCP, and other relevant standards.
o Preparation for and leadership of site audits by regulatory bodies and customers.
* Ensure Food Safety:
o Key point of contact for food safety matters, implementing corrective and preventative measures as required.
o Conducting internal audits and oversight of supplier approval processes.
* Lead and Develop the Team:
o Management and mentoring of the quality team, fostering a culture of quality and excellence throughout the business.
o Collaboration with other departments to support continuous improvement initiatives.
* Drive Continuous Improvement:
o Analysing quality data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
o Implementation of strategies to enhance product consistency, reduce waste, and improve efficiency.
Requirements:
* A degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related discipline.
* At least 5 years' experience in a quality role within food manufacturing, ideally in chilled food.
* In-depth knowledge of HACCP, BRC, and food safety regulations.
* Strong leadership skills, with experience in managing and developing a team.
* Excellent problem-solving, organisational, and communication skills.
