We are seeking a dynamic Science Teacher to join our welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in Rochdale, starting in April 2025. As a Science Teacher, you will have the opportunity to teach across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, delivering exciting lessons in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. You will: Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that inspire curiosity and foster a love of Science Challenge and motivate students to develop their scientific thinking, problem-solving skills, and investigative abilities Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Science curriculum and share best teaching practices Support students in and out of the classroom, helping them to achieve their potential and excel in their studies Contribute to the school’s extracurricular activities, including Science clubs or revision sessions What We’re Looking For: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent A degree in Science or a related field with a specialism in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics A passion for Science and the ability to inspire students of all abilities Excellent communication skills and the ability to simplify complex concepts A creative, hands-on approach to teaching, with a focus on practical experiments and active learning A commitment to student well-being and academic success Strong classroom management skills, with the ability to maintain a positive and productive learning environment All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
