This role is all about optimizing supply, managing risk, and ensuring best-in-class packaging solutions for Samworth Brothers. Key Responsibilities: Negotiate the best terms while ensuring that packaging suppliers and products align with financial, technical, and customer objectives. Have a deep understanding of packaging supply costs, enabling strategic decision-making. Develop robust long, medium, and short-term plans, providing accurate financial forecasts to support business planning. Create formal category strategies that align with business needs, supply market trends, and cost efficiencies. Implement risk management strategies to safeguard the supply chain and maximize opportunities. Bring the latest external thinking on responsible, environmental, and ethical best practices in packaging procurement. Work closely with suppliers to ensure total quality —service, product, and processes—keeping Samworth Brothers ahead in the market.
