We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic Deal Pricing Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in maximizing revenue and profitability by developing, implementing and managing pricing strategies for complex deals. The role requires a strong understanding of market dynamics, customer value propositions and cost structures as well as excellent negotiation skills and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams. What You'll Do
* Assist the Sales team with deal quotation and negotiations ensuring fair customer value as well as profitable margins for the business.
* Become commercial subject matter expert for price setting, delivery & evolution for private sector and public sector clients.
* Develop and implement pricing strategies for new and existing deals, ensuring alignment with company objectives and market conditions.
* Conduct in-depth analysis of proposed deals, considering costs, market demand, competition and customer value to recommend optimal pricing structures.
* Act as the point of contact for pricing queries and deal approvals as well as managing the Internal Deal approval governance process ensuring commercials are approved internally by the Leadership team.
* Design and maintain financial models to assess the impact of pricing decisions on revenue, profitability and overall business performance.
* Work closely with Sales, Finance, Product, Legal and operation colleagues to structure deals that meet customer needs while optimizing company margins.
* Support Sales teams during contract negotiations by providing pricing insights, recommendations and approval of discount levels.
* Evolve price trend / benchmark intelligence capability, targeted at key decision makers.
* Stay informed about market trends, competitor pricing strategies and industry developments to ensure competitive positioning.
* Participate in the review of and response to RFPs, RFIs, RFQs as needed.
* Continuously review and enhance pricing processes, tools, and systems to improve efficiency and accuracy.
* Monitor list prices and the Price quotation tool.
What Experience You'll Need
* Graduate (2:1 or First) or equivalent experience, currently acting as a pricing analyst, seeking to move into a more commercial/client orientated role.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data driven decisions.
* Proven stakeholder management experience.
* Demonstrable commercial acumen track record.
* Proven ability to set targets and deliver against them.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
