About the role:
The Apprenticeship Recruitment Officer will provide a professional service for both businesses and prospective apprentices, supporting the learner journey into an Apprenticeship through liaison with curriculum, managing applications, and supporting candidates from initial enquiry to apprenticeship start with the employer.
Key Responsibilities and Requirements:
* Experience and understanding of Apprenticeship provision; onboarding, support and rules and regulations
* Experience of employer engagement or lead generation
* Experience in working to targets and deadlines
* Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
* Excellent organisation skills including time management
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Experience of using a CRM system desirable
* Experience of working with young people in further education an advantage
* Advice and guidance qualification not essential but an advantage
* Excellent IT skills
* Understanding of equality of opportunity
* Understanding of safeguarding within the educational environment
* Ability to analyse data and produce accessible reports
To be successful in this role, we need from you:
* Educated to at least Level 3
* Literacy and Numeracy at Level 2/GCSE grade A - C or equivalent
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop effective relationships
* Good administration skills and the ability to prioritise workload
* Knowledge and understanding of the local labour market
* Ability to work effectively with computer programmes such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
* Flexibility to work across campuses and occasional evenings and early mornings
