We're looking for dedicated Catering Assistants to join our team at Sheffield Children's Hospital. You'll help deliver high-quality catering services to staff, visitors, and patients across our catering outlets. Current opportunities Permanent x 1 - 30 hours per week, working evenings Permanent x 1 - 21 hours per week, working evenings Permanent x 1 - 20 hours per week, working days Main duties of the job Reporting into the Catering Manager, you will: Clean and store utensils, equipment, and retail area items Present, and serve basic food and drink items (e.g., sandwiches and salads) Safely dispose of food waste while observing food hygiene standards Monitor and record temperature controls for food and drink storage Replenish and document food and drink stock in retail and vending areas Serve customers, including patients, families, colleagues, and visitors, while providing a welcoming and high-quality service Operate the till, processing and handling payments About us Working for your organisation At Sheffield Children's, our purpose is clear: to provide healthier futures for children and young people.
