Job summary Working under the direction of the lead nurse and as part of the practice multidisciplinary team, the post holder will be responsible for performing venepuncture, as requested by the clinical team, to the entitled patient population. In addition, the Phlebotomist will be expected to support the nursing team on an as required basis. Main duties of the job Working as part of the Integrated Nursing Team, the post holder will be taking bloods from patients within the clinic setting, and occasionally in the patients own home. The post holder will work at least 20-25 hours per week, over 4 or 5 days. Training is available for the right person, so lack of phlebotomy experience should not be seen as a barrier to applying for the role.
