Volunteering & Training Assistant Full Time – 35 Hours per Week Permanent Contract Hampshire & Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust is a grassroots movement working for nature’s recovery and to bring people closer to nature. ‘Our vision for a wilder future is beautiful and vital’ Our future has to be wilder We are seeking a Volunteering & Training Assistant to join our cause. The successful postholder will work within the HR section to provide effective administration of volunteer records, volunteer recruitment, and volunteering compliance with relevant policies, alongside coordinating, administering and organising training for staff across the Trust. The Assistant will work closely with the Health and Safety Officer to coordinate H&S training, with senior members of the Trust where training is required for their staff, and with volunteer managers for Trust volunteers. The role will be broadly split 50:50 between assisting the HR Team with volunteer management and supporting training administration processes. This is a key administrative role requiring excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. The postholder will be the first point of contact for volunteering and training enquiries and will play a vital role in ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
