783CW Maintenance Technician (Local Candidates will only be considered - must be local to Avonmouth and Hinkley Point C) Location: To cover facilities in Avonmouth, Gloucester, Bridgwater and site work at Hinkley Point C, Somerset Type: Permanent, Full-time Salary: £45,,000 We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our clients Emergency Diesel Generators Project team at Hinkley Point C. You'll ensure the emergency diesel generator systems and related equipment remain in optimal condition through planned care and maintenance, contributing to this vital nuclear power project. Key Responsibilities: Perform maintenance on stored and installed emergency diesel generator systems and related equipment. Assist in planning and coordinating maintenance tasks. Maintain tools, equipment, and consumables stock. Produce detailed maintenance reports. Keep the storage facility organized and clean. Collaborate with construction teams and supervise additional labour when required. Promote nuclear safety culture and follow health, safety, and quality protocols. Liaise with offsite warehouses for regular maintenance visits. Act as Incident Controller and Permit Holder for specified activities. Experience Required: 5 years' practical experience in M&E projects. Strong knowledge of diesel engines, generators, and related systems. Ideally mechanical or electrical maintenance/ field service background Mandatory Qualification: CCNSG Safety Passport Location and Benefits: Salary: £45,000–£50,000 (depending on experience) plus company van Hours: Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm Workplace: Site-based at Avonmouth facilities plus regular visits between Gloucester, Bridgwater and site work at Hinkley Point C – local candidates will there only be considered
