Electrical Service & Installation Engineer - £32,000 - £37,500 - plus travel allowances and expenses covered, 25 days holiday + bank increasing with service, death in service benefit of 4x salary, salary sacrifice pension scheme and share incentive plan.

You will be joining a leading manufacturer of a range of niche instrumentation for specialised applications as Service & Installation Engineer and be part of their test, service and installation team based from their head office in East Grinstead, West Sussex.
You will be expected to travel internationally 25-50% of the time and duties will include:
1. Final test of instruments post-production including both electrical and mechanical inspection;
2. Overall performance of the instruments and software;
3. Performing on-site installation, training and customer demonstrations on delivered instruments;
4. On-site and back to base maintenance;
5. Emergency service;
6. Hardware and software upgrades;
7. Providing both telephone and email technical support to customers.
You will be qualified to HNC or equivalent in Electrical or Electronic Engineering and have at least 2 years commercial experience of working within an electrical test, inspection, assembly, service engineering or on-site support capacity; have a good understanding of electrical systems and now looking for a customer-facing role and the opportunity to travel.
All candidates will receive 3-6 months product training, must possess a full UK driving licence as well as a current passport and be willing to travel when overseas required.
