The right candidate will plan, deliver, and assess courses at levels 1, 2 & 3.
The candidate will be responsible for delivering skills and knowledge to high standards. This will be achieved by preparing resources, delivering lessons, marking student work, and supporting students with their whole programme of study.
We are seeking an industry specialist to teach and embed essential skills. Learners will complete invaluable work experience placements as part of their study programme, which will launch them into a career in the health sector with skills and experiences that align with their chosen career path.
This opportunity exists for an individual who wants to work in a stimulating and challenging environment to inspire our students to achieve their best. The successful candidate will need to have essential skills required, as well as knowledge of Childcare and/or Social Care and psychology. They will ideally have experience working with young people or apprentices either in a college or an educational setting. An inspirational and motivational approach is essential to educate and inspire learners.
Applicants should have a Level 3 in Childcare or Health & Social care qualification and relevant vocational experience. A teaching qualification would be advantageous; however, we would offer full teacher training to the successful candidate.
The successful applicant will become part of a highly motivated team who are dedicated to raising standards and improving outcomes for all learners.
We have both full time and part time positions available based at our Barnfield College Campus in Luton.
The closing date for applications is Sunday 24th November 2024. The successful candidate will join our team from January 2025.
