Field based role – head office Shrewsbury (3-4 times per month)

Bell Cornwall Recruitment are delighted to be working with a market-leading manufacturer and distributor of garden and wildlife products. They are looking for an ambitious and driven salesperson to join their team at an exciting time in a Field Sales Account Manager capacity.
The Field Sales Account Manager will be responsible for managing the medium retail sales accounts and larger independent garden centres leading to profitable sales growth in the UK.
The key operational responsibilities of the Field Sales Account Manager include (but are not limited to):
1. Achieving the sales objectives and KPIs per account and per product group.
2. Contributing to the annual sales plan.
3. Maintaining and optimising contacts with existing relationships in order to increase profitability.
4. Issuing and discussing quotations and ensuring adequate follow-up.
5. Giving demonstrations about products at customers.
6. Providing the weekly and/or monthly commercial results and reports to the sr account manager UK and/or sales director.
7. Monitoring and improving the quantity of orders and the order value in consultation with the account team.
The successful person will:
1. Have experience managing accounts and building relationships.
2. Be happy to be predominantly field-based.
3. Be driven by sales and winning new business with a positive attitude.
4. Possess business acumen with knowledge of how margin and rotations affect the wider business.
