Job summary The Primary Care Improvement Lead will enhance the quality and efficiency of primary care services within the General Practice. This role involves leading quality assurance mechanisms, driving sustained improvements in patient care, safety, and experience, and supporting the strategic and operational development of primary care. Key responsibilities include supporting improvement projects, key initiatives, and health campaigns across Thorpe Bay Surgery and North Shoebury Surgery, providing intra-practice support as needed, and leading various improvement initiatives such as digital transformation projects, digital triage, online signposting, social media and optimising clinical systems and N365. The ideal candidate will have a recognised qualification in digital healthcare management, public health, or a related field, extensive experience in primary care or healthcare quality improvement, strong organisational skills and attention to detail, excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, the ability to build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, high levels of energy, drive, and resilience, and Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) clearance.
