In collaboration with the Maintenance Manager, you will lead a high-performing engineering team with a hands-on approach.

Shift Pattern
1. Week 1 – Monday to Thursday – 14:00pm – 12:00am
2. Week 2 – Tuesday to Friday – 06:00am – 16:00pm
3. Week 3 – Monday to Thursday – 05:00am – 15:00pm
4. Week 4 – Tuesday to Friday – 06:00am – 16:00pm

The Job
* Lead and coach a high-performance engineering team, focusing on reliability-centered maintenance
* Maximise team productivity, ensuring maintenance execution improves asset reliability and OEE
* Problem-solve and troubleshoot automated systems and packaging machinery
* Oversee Health & Safety, ensuring adherence to procedures and conducting audits
* Plan labour and material requirements for plant operations, overseeing contractors and service providers
* Support plant improvement projects, maintenance schedule reviews, and CI initiatives
* Train and develop apprentices and technical operators, providing mentoring and hands-on coaching
* Ensure compliance with safety legislation and HR policies, including recruitment and absence management
* Generate detailed reports and document technical knowledge for long-term improvements
What You’ll Need
* HNC/HND/ONC/City & Guilds in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
* Experience in an Engineering or Senior Technician role in a high-speed manufacturing environment
* Strong health and safety knowledge, with experience in continuous improvement, MTBF, and FMEA
* Hands-on and hands-off engineering skills, excellent problem-solving abilities
* Effective communication and leadership skills, able to mentor and coach teams
* Knowledge of relevant safety legislation and well-practiced in planning and organisation
* IT proficiency in Microsoft Office
