The Director of Finance and Development is responsible for the School's financial affairs, development, catering, legal and compliance, with line management responsibility for the Finance Team, Development Team and Catering Team.
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a suitably experienced and well qualified professional to lead the School’s Finance function and to join our successful Senior Leadership Team. Reporting to the Principal, the post holder will be dynamic, commercially astute and able to provide high quality personnel management and financial leadership across all areas of finance.
Ideally ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified with proven previous experience of managing a finance function, the successful candidate will possess strong technical financial and management accounting skills, be a self-starter and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Leading our Development Office is a key part of the role. Experience in communications and fundraising would be valued and a desire to connect with the School’s donors and alumni essential.

A strong interest in education along with a desire to support the School’s overall educational aims, values and ethos are key.
The position is varied and will involve all aspects of finance, budgeting and long-term strategic planning.
Application is by submission of the School Application Form and a covering letter. Please address the letter to the Principal (no more than two sides), refer to the criteria set out in the Person Specification and outline your vision for the role, using Microsoft Word format.
The application form and further details of this post can be found via our school website using this link. Please complete all sections of our application form, then submit your application and letter via the HR Pro link, by 9.00am, Wednesday 20th November 2024.
Please do not submit your CV, even to supplement your application, as this will not be considered. Interviews are likely to be held during week commencing Monday 2nd December 2024.
