Reporting to the Sales Manager, the purpose of the New Sales Specialist is to drive new customer sales whilst developing and growing the sales of existing customers. They will ensure the end to end sales process is adhered to and suggest and implement improvements where required. The high-quality output of this operation contributes to the organisation’s success and growth and ethos of “right first time every time” improving the overall profitability of the Company.
Responsibilities
* Target new customers and develop a trusted relationship to deliver on promises/expectations
* Drive new customer sales in line with Companies growth plans and account manage those new customers delivering excellence against customer expectations.
* Help develop existing customers to drive sales growth whilst maintaining/growing margins
* Ensure incoming sales enquiries are addressed through to fulfilment
* Ensure any valid NCR’s are dealt with diligently and swiftly and challenge any invalid NCR’s
* Ensure the end to end sales process is complied with.
* Assist the Sales Manager in establishing and setting annual sales targets via an annual sales plan. Report and mitigate any deviances from the sales plan in a timely manner.
* Maybe required to perform a variety of other tasks as required by the business.
Qualifications
* HND (or equivalent) in a relevant field
* 3-5 years’ experience in laser sales or similar customer facing role
* Excellent thinking, reasoning and negotiating skills
* Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
* Excellent sales strategies, forecasting and planning skills
* Good communicator at all levels.
