We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role Salary: Competitive What you'll be doing: Planning of all activities relating to configuration management and release for the Dreadnought program via a configuration management plan Design and maintenance of processes to implement the configuration management and release activities as identified in the plan Ensuring configuration management activities are discharged in accordance with the plan Management of the release of and delivery of products to both internal and external customer Work with internal stakeholders to identify their configuration management and reporting requirements and ensuring that these requirements are captured in the plans and processes Leading configuration audit activities (i.e. FCA/ PCA) Leadership and coaching of the configuration management team Interfacing with the platform configuration management team to ensure that platform configurations are accurately maintained Your skills and experiences: Essential Degree qualified (RQF Level 6/ SCQF Level 9) or equivalent experience in a technology, engineering or science related discipline Registered as CEng (or can demonstrate eligibility and commitment to register for CEng within 12 months of appointment) Member of a Professional Engineering Institute recognised by the Engineering Council Desirable CM2 certified Experience of configuration and release management in a regulated industry (such as defence, aerospace, rail, oil & gas, nuclear or automotive) Benefits: You'll receive benefits including a competitive pension scheme, enhanced annual leave allowance and a Company contributed Share Incentive Plan. The Configuration Management Team: In this team, you will be part of a new capability within the business. This means that you will be involved in significantly influencing the direction the team takes. You will be involved in defining, establishing, approving, and maintaining the configuration and release management processes for software products and supporting artefacts for the Dreadnought program with the support of a team of engineers. This role also provides opportunities which include maintaining continuous professional development and supported learning.
