The Head of Product Marketing role is responsible for developing and execution the Company’s go-to-market strategy for the Company’s products, ensuring alignment with the customer needs, competitive positioning and business goals. This role bridges the gap between product development, product management, sales and marketing, leading efforts to create compelling product narratives, drive demand and ensure successful product launches. The Head of Product Marketing plays a crucial role in ensuring that products are effectively positioned and marketed, driving both product success and business growth through strategic marketing efforts. Key Accountabilities Lead the development and execution of marketing strategies across all UK brands under the PEXA group; including Smoove, Optima, Amity Law, and Legal Eye, with a focus on driving customer acquisition, engagement, and retention. Oversee Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategies and campaigns, targeting key audiences such as conveyancers, lenders, brokers and other professional services within the property market. Design and implement loyalty programs and customer engagement initiatives to foster long-term relationships and increase client retention. Develop and manage strategic partnerships and co-marketing opportunities to expand brand visibility and market penetration. Oversee the planning and execution of industry events, conferences, and webinars to enhance brand reputation and drive lead generation. Manage and develop a high-performing team; including the Marketing Manager, Marketing Executive, and Events Executive, ensuring alignment with broader business goals. Work cross-functionally with product, sales, risk and communications teams to ensure marketing efforts are cohesive, targeted, and aligned with product positioning and customer needs. Analyse and report on campaign performance, utilising data-driven insights to optimise marketing efforts and meet key business objectives. Maintain an in-depth understanding of the UK property market, particularly within conveyancing and lender audiences, to ensure the relevance and impact of marketing initiatives. Competitor intelligence gathering, and sharing insights with the broader product, sales and marketing teams to inform strategy and market positioning Skills & Experience Required Industry: Must have experience in proptech, conveyancing or mortgage lending tech products Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field. Master’s degree or MBA desirable. Experience: Proven experience in Product Marketing roles including in a senior leadership position. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively. > Market Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the UK property market and the specific challenges and opportunities faced by professional services such as conveyancers, lenders and brokers. > Proven Experience in Campaign Design: Extensive experience in designing and delivering successful marketing campaigns specifically targeting conveyancers, lenders, and other professional services in the property market. ABM Expertise: Strong knowledge and experience in Account-Based Marketing, with a track record of creating targeted, high-impact campaigns for key accounts in a B2B environment. Customer Engagement & Loyalty Programmes: Demonstrated ability to develop and manage loyalty programs that engage and retain professional services audiences. Event & Partnership Management: Experience in organising and managing events, as well as developing strategic partnerships, to enhance brand presence and generate new business opportunities. Leadership & Team Management: Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to manage, mentor, and develop marketing teams to deliver on strategic objectives.
