About the Role You are joining the team to build relationships with businesses across the UK with commercial vehicles and influence them to purchase our industry-leading service. These people will typically have the following job titles: MD, CEO, Transport Manager, Fleet Manager, and Finance Director. A small deal typically involves a small trade company, usually in the construction or logistics industries, where we provide and manage between 2 to 10 vehicles. These deals typically have a turnover of £50k to £250k, with a margin ranging from £4k to £20k over a 12-month period. A medium deal would involve a company with over 50 employees, typically in sectors such as construction, logistics, manufacturing, or telecoms. These deals usually begin with an initial order of 10 to 25 vehicles for supply and management over a 12-month period, resulting in a gross profit (GP) of £20k to £50k. A large deal involves 25 or more vehicles over a 12-month period, with similar industries as above, and generates a GP of £50k or more. To meet targets, you would need to close 8 to 10 small deals per month or secure 1 large deal per month as a minimum. There’s an uncapped commission and the more successful you are, the more we will pay you. Success in your first year looks like: You will have built an excellent knowledge of our solutions and how they help solve our customer’s challenges Built strong relationships across the F&F team Deliver £40,000 net deal margin generated per month 5 x meetings sat per week (teams/zoom or face to face) Self-generated lead activity – Min. 50 new business prospecting calls per week (to existing client data and new qualified prospect data). To achieve this, you will: Generate leads through direct prospecting, lead management, networking, and partnerships Build relationships with your prospects through calls, face-to-face meetings, and video meetings Present our solutions, concisely, and relevant to all new prospects Update and maintain your interactions on our CRM System Work closely with the team to identify areas for continued knowledge improvement Research and explore new business opportunities Acquire new commercial fleet vehicle management clients through outbound prospecting Manage full sales cycle – qualify needs, advise strategy, oversee delivery Nurture and expand accounts over time as businesses grow Potential to take over some key accounts from Michael eventually Reward Your basic salary is £35,000 and your on-target earnings are £80,000 per year. You will be predominantly self-generating your own leads but will have some provided by the company. Your commission is 5% of the net deal margin when the company generates the lead and 15% of the net deal margin when you generate the lead yourself. Your monthly min. margin target required to achieve commission payable – is £25,000.
