This role involves working closely with businesses to provide expert financial advice, ensuring compliance, and supporting clients through their digitalisation journey. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining strong client relationships and driving operational excellence.\n\nClient Manager Job Overview\n\nManage a portfolio of clients, overseeing their accounting, VAT, and corporation tax needs.\nProvide expert financial advice and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.\nSupport clients with cloud-based accounting systems and digital transformation.\nPrepare and review financial statements, tax returns, and VAT submissions.\nLiaise with HMRC and other regulatory bodies as required.\nIdentify opportunities for business development and enhanced client services.\nSupervise and mentor junior team members, ensuring high standards of work. \n\nClient Manager Job Requirements\n\nQualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).\nStrong experience in managing client portfolios within an accountancy practice.\nProficiency in cloud-based accounting software such as Xero or QuickBooks.\nSolid understanding of VAT and corporation tax regulations.\nExcellent communication and relationship management skills.\nAbility to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.\nStrong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to client support.
