Key Responsibilities :-
* Responsible for end-to-end trade execution.
* Organize bulk, container, truck shipments of Agri Products & Minerals: cargo packing, cargo loading, cargo discharge, transportation itself, transhipment, storage.
* Organize insurance of the cargo during transportation and storage.
* Organize operations for weighting, sampling, and assaying of cargos. Dealing with surveyors and laboratories, understanding facilities on the ground for weighting and sampling procedures.
* Organizing hedging of price exposure on shipments.
* Handling data entry in the system, working with exposure, cargo reports.
* Responsible for the contractual and financial performance of sales and purchase agreements. This will involve working closely with traders to maximize profits and minimize losses on trades
* Responsible for executing and overseeing the lifecycle of each trade/business confirmation including contracts admin, logistics, hedging, documentation, insurance.
* Contract Creation, execution and supervise those contractual terms and obligations are being complied to and that accurate and up-to-date contract records are being kept in the system.
* Prepare and submit commercial cargo invoices to Receivers/Suppliers, organize settlement of invoices in coordination with Trade Finance, manage cash exposures with Counterparties, control/report credit exposure with Counterparties.
* Coordination between Suppliers, Buyers, finance, shipping, freight forwarders and port operations to ensure all matters are in order, to support timely delivery of product to the customers in accordance with the contract and maintain databases to ensure ongoing accuracy.
* Good operational knowledge of sales operations on international trades, delivery terms and documentation requirements (Charter Party Bills of Lading, Bills of lading, warehouse release, warrants, holding certificates etc.).
* Extensive knowledge of LC terms & negotiation.
* Ensure payment matters to supplier and incoming funds from buyers, based on payment terms, LC issuance & LC negotiation if any
* Follow up and complete shipment documentation and coordinate with supplier, as well as provide all related shipping docs to buyers for customs purpose & cargo discharge.
* Warehouse coordination and stock reconciliation.
* Handle all shipment related expenses, claims and client receivables / payables.
Knowledge & Experience:
* Relevant degree, preferably master’s level or equivalent.
* Minimum 6 -8 years of relevant experience.
* Excellent negotiation skills developed hands-on experience.
* Aptitude to have a universal view and connect business needs.
* Team player with "can do" attitude.
* Focused individual with analytical approach and high degree of personal organization.
* High proficiency in MS Office.
