Role Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and committed Special Needs Teacher. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with a range of special educational needs and will be skilled in creating engaging, individualized learning plans. You will play a crucial role in supporting students' educational journeys and promoting their social and emotional development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement personalized education plans (PEPs) tailored to individual student needs.
* Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
* Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and multi-disciplinary teams to track progress and adapt strategies as needed.
* Utilize a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
* Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support.
* Promote the social, emotional, and personal development of each student.
* Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to the school community.
Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Experience working with children with special educational needs.
* Strong knowledge of SEN policies, practices, and strategies.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A compassionate and patient approach to teaching.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
