19.5 hours per week, term time only
Working Wednesday, Thursday and Friday: 8:30am-15:30pm
Pay Grade: SCP 5- 6 FTE £ £24,790-£25,183 (pro-rata)
Actual salary from £10,901- £11,073 per year

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN and Intervention Teaching Assistant to join our ambitious and supportive team. Christ Church First School is looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant who will:
Provide specialist support and intervention to individuals and small groups of children with special educational needs
Assist in the preparation and maintenance of resources and equipment to support children's learning
Work closely with teachers and the SENCO to ensure the needs of all children are met
Develop positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
Contribute to the wider life and ethos of the school
Have experience working with children with special educational needs
Have a strong understanding of effective SEND practises and a willingness to continuously develop your skills
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Use patience, empathy, and have a genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
Work collaboratively as part of a team and have a sense of humour! What we offer
