Locum Pharmacist Opportunity - North Wales (NHS Hospital)
Job Title: Band 6 Pharmacist
Location: North Wales - NHS Hospital
Duration: Ongoing (3-6 months if required)
Schedule: Monday-Friday preferred (part-time considered)
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: TBC
Rate of Pay: £25 - £32 per hour (via Umbrella), dependent on experience
What You'll Be Doing:
Join our team as a Band 6 Pharmacist and play a key role in supporting the NHS inpatient dispensary service. In this role, you will:
1. Work in the inpatient dispensary (training provided on-site)
2. Potentially progress into ward-based responsibilities
3. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient outcomes
4. Ensure safe and effective use of medications in a hospital setting
Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. GPhC registration (ideal for newly registered pharmacists!)
2. A community or hospital pharmacy background (no prior hospital experience required!)
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
4. The ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
5. A commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
