This superb career opportunity has come about due to Internal Promotion You will be joining the dynamic team supporting a major refurbishment of the client's lobal headquarters located in Canary Wharf. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a critical phase in the project, witnessing the commissioning process and contributing to the building's mobilization. About the Role: You will oversee the team that resolves and completes day-to-day work orders to meet customer satisfaction. Key player in the Critical and Technical Services job function. Responsible for technical maintenance services in critical client environments. Responsibilities: Manage, plan, coordinate, schedule, and oversee the workload, deadlines, and day-to-day activities of the support team members to ensure effective delivery of services. Provide holiday, training & sickness cover for other members of the shift team. Review work logs and outstanding items through the in-house system to ensure completion. Attend installation, commissioning, and fit-out events to ensure compliance with the agreed design, the client's standards, and statutory requirements. Update the site commissioning tracker on a daily basis. Oversee all building systems including fire/life safety, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical issues. Must remain current with the latest technology trends Ensure that all contractors and staff comply with all company, client safety, and security requirements. Seek out new vendors and maintain relationships with current ones. Assist with the development of critical services training programs. Point of contact for client and management escalation. Share expertise and industry experience with the team to help resolve operational problems. Assist at all stages of commissioning, witnessing, snagging and handover of all new facilities, systems, and assets to client.Role Requirements: City & Guilds / NVQ level 3 or equivalent in BS7671:2008 Requirement for Electrical Installation (IEE Wiring Regulations 18th edition). Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more. In-depth understanding of a range of processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within own job function and basic knowledge of related job functions required. Requires the ability to explain complex concepts or sensitive information. Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. Excellent organizational skills with a master-level inquisitive mindset. A good understanding & competency of all building services PLC systems, critical cooling systems, water treatment, refrigeration systems and HV/LV electrical infrastructure Good verbal & written communication skills.
