The main purpose of the Colposcopy Failsafe Manager post is to oversee failsafe responsibilities for the NHS National Cervical Screening Programme for Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust delivered at Wycombe Hospital in collaboration with the administrative and clinical staff.
The Colposcopy Failsafe Manager will facilitate and support reports, audits, and manage the colposcopy administrative team.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will:
* Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team to ensure our patients on colposcopy pathways receive timely diagnosis and treatment.
* Manage all colposcopy pathways to ensure failsafe activities are quality assured and performance managed according to local and national policies, protocols, and standards.
* Identify blockages and opportunities as individual patients move through the system.
* Support and comply with reporting, ensuring effective communication with other agencies, and timely failsafe activities service in relation to patients referred by the National Cervical Screening Programme.
* Provide day-to-day management to the colposcopy administrative team and support the clinical team to ensure the flow of patients through the system.
