Our client, operating within the water sector, is seeking experienced Project Managers to join their team on a contract basis. This opportunity focuses on various water projects, primarily wastewater, and will involve client-side management.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Overseeing the delivery of water projects to ensure they meet time, cost, and quality requirements
2. Managing project teams and subcontractors, ensuring effective communication and coordination
3. Developing detailed project plans to monitor and track progress
4. Conducting risk management to minimise project risks
5. Ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards
6. Preparing and presenting project status reports to stakeholders
7. Managing project budgets and financials effectively
8. Maintaining strong client relationships through regular liaison and excellent service
Job Requirements:
1. Significant experience in project management, preferably within the water sector
2. Strong understanding of wastewater project delivery and client management
3. Proficiency in using project management software and methodologies
4. Excellent organisational and leadership skills
5. Ability to work effectively both onsite and remotely
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
7. Relevant project management qualification or certification
8. Knowledge of IR35 regulations and contract management
