Key Responsibilities: Crisis Management: Lead and manage activities related to crisis situations, ensuring rapid resolution and minimising disruption to production and supply chain processes. Supplier Quality Assurance: Oversee supplier performance to ensure compliance with quality standards, resolving quality issues, and driving improvements where necessary. Continuous Improvement: Implement and champion lean manufacturing and production management principles, focusing on process efficiency and waste reduction. Quality Audits & Inspections: Conduct regular audits and inspections of suppliers to ensure adherence to AeroSystems’ quality requirements. Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams including production, engineering, and procurement to maintain seamless supply chain operations. Supplier Development: Provide support and guidance to suppliers on quality improvements, fostering long-term partnerships and supply chain resilience. Reporting & Analysis: Produce detailed reports on quality performance, supply chain risks, and improvement activities. Required Qualifications and Experience: Experience: 5–10 years of experience in supply chain quality management, ideally within the aerospace or aerostructures sector. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of aerostructures and basic mechanical principles. Lean Manufacturing: Proven experience in production and lean management, with a track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives. Crisis Management: Demonstrated ability to manage crisis situations effectively and maintain operational stability. Proactive & Autonomous: Able to work independently, take initiative, and act proactively to prevent and resolve issues. Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and manage supplier relationships. Problem Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
