Order Processing Coordinator Logistics

About The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Order Processing Coordinator to join our logistics team. This role is essential in ensuring seamless order processing, accurate documentation, and efficient coordination between customers, suppliers, and internal teams. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Order Management: Process and manage customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timely fulfilment.
* Logistics Coordination: Work closely with suppliers, warehouses, and transport teams to schedule and track deliveries.
* Inventory Control: Ensure stock levels are updated in real-time, coordinating with supply chain teams to prevent shortages.
* Customer Communication: Liaise with clients regarding order status, delivery schedules, and any issues that may arise.
* Documentation & Compliance: Prepare shipping documents, invoices, and customs paperwork in compliance with regulations.
* Problem-Solving: Address order discrepancies, delays, and logistics challenges efficiently.
* System Management: Maintain records and update ERP/WMS systems to reflect order progress and inventory levels.
* Reporting: Generate reports on order fulfilment, delivery performance, and logistics efficiency.
Ideal Candidate Profile
* Experience: Previous experience in order processing, logistics, or supply chain management preferred.
* Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP, WMS, or order management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
* Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills to ensure accuracy in order processing and documentation.
* Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
* Problem-Solving: Ability to handle unexpected challenges and ensure smooth order fulfilment.
* Time Management: Ability to manage multiple orders and priorities within tight deadlines.
* Team Player: Collaborative approach, working effectively with logistics, sales, and warehouse teams.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred but not essential).
* Software Proficiency: Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and logistics platforms.
* Industry Knowledge: Understanding of import/export regulations, customs documentation, and shipping processes is an advantage.
