Chesham House School supports young people aged 10-18 who have SEMH challenges, enabling them to realise their potential and through personalised support, achieve their goals. Job Profile:
As a School Administrator you will be responsible for helping to provide efficient and accessible administrative support for both the smooth running and effective management of the establishment. By carrying out this role you will make a significant contribution to establishing and maintaining a well organised office as well as build positive relationships and effective communications with our employees, students and partners outside of the school.
Main Duties Include:
* Production and return of weekly and monthly reports
* Management of registers and attendance reports
* Providing administrative support for examination
* Running of the school half termly newsletter
* Maintain relevant handbooks, calendars, policies, risk assessments and other working documents related to the school
* Liaise with carers/home managers and other employees where relevant
* Handling school enquiries
* Keeping Pupil records up to date to include SEN summaries and pupil report collation
* Letter and report writing
* Diary management for school.
* Assistance in the clerical arrangements for trips/school events
* General administration duties
Knowledge and experience required:
* Excellent communication skills
* Excellent computer skills
* Able to follow Privacy and Confidentiality Procedures
* Ability to work under own initiative
* Ability to take direction and work as part of a team
* Ability to work in partnership and liaise with other professionals
* Good understanding Equal Opportunities and Anti - Discriminatory Practice issues
* Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (In particular Outlook, Word, Publisher, PowerPoint and Excel)
* Able to analyse data using Computerised Software
* Able to follow Health and Safety Procedures
* GCSE/ L2 English
* GCSE/ L2 Maths
* L2 IT Skills
* Strong IT skills
