Main duties of the job As an Endoscopy Nurse, you will be responsible for the everyday running of the service. This will include the patient pathway from admission to discharge, assisting the Consultant during the procedures, preparing the room and equipment for the procedures, assessments, audits, supporting junior staff and assisting the senior nurses, link roles, etc. Our endoscopy unit is supporting and working with the Bowel Cancer Screening program, Paediatric team, Respiratory team, Capsule endoscopy, PEGs and Gastropexies, Cancer services and Gastroenterology.
