Aylesbury development opportunity! Are you a resilient, optimistic, and flexible mental health nurse with an interest in patient care and recovery?
We're seeking a Deputy Ward Manager on Sapphire ward in Aylesbury. The candidate will be instrumental in supporting the recovery process of individuals by actively contributing to and maintaining the high standards of patient care whilst working within a safe, secure, and supportive environment.
In this role, you will also be offered one protected day for clinical practice to support you in the managerial aspects of your role or project work connected to Quality Improvement, research, leadership, and supervision.
1. Assist in implementing and evaluating individual care plans, supporting patients in their recovery journey.
2. Actively support clients in engaging with their local community and reducing social isolation.
3. Work alongside a dedicated team of experienced staff from various professional backgrounds.
4. Collaborate with nurses, nurse assistant trainees, healthcare assistants, doctors, an activity coordinator, an occupational therapist, peer support workers, a receptionist, and housekeepers.
5. Contribute to a multidisciplinary approach to patient care within the wards.

The ability to travel independently between sites within the Trust is essential for this role.
