Hours of Post: 33.75 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Contract Type: Permanent, Term Time only
Salary Grade: Scale 5, points 12 to 17 - £27,711 to £30,060 FTE
(dependent on skills, qualifications and experience)

We are looking to appoint an experienced and highly motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant, to join our creative and inclusive school.
About the Role
We are looking for a qualified HLTA with a secure knowledge of primary education from Early Years through to Year 6. You would need to have experience of supporting groups of children as well as being able to deliver whole class PPA sessions.
You will play a key role in delivering a wide range of interventions to groups of children across the primary age range in both English and Maths. We require someone who is flexible and reliable to work in partnership with our SENDCO and class teachers. Have a positive attitude, a calm and patient approach and excellent communication skills and subject knowledge.
The successful candidate will:
Have GCSE grade C or equivalent in English and Mathematics
Have their HLTA qualification
Have experience of working with children across the primary age range in groups and at whole class level
Motivate and engage all pupils
Be able to use their initiative and be resourceful
Be a strong team member
Love working with children
Have patience and communication skills
Have an understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding
Have experience of running intervention programmes
