We're committed to providing exceptional service and ensuring our Holiday Homes, buildings, and grounds are always safe and well-maintained. In this role, you'll be responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
* You will lead a team of Maintenance Assistants and Operatives, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure they have the tools and knowledge to deliver excellent results.
* Building strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders is crucial in this role, as you will need to resolve queries and issues promptly and professionally.
* You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of maintenance jobs and ensuring that Health & Safety guidelines are strictly adhered to.
* A key part of this role is recruiting, onboarding, and mentoring new team members, helping them to develop their skills and become valuable assets to the team.
* You will also be responsible for monitoring and evaluating the work of your team, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance performance.
* Controlling costs and ensuring budget efficiency is essential in this role, as you will need to manage resources effectively to achieve targets.
* Finally, you will play a key role in planning and delivering winter and summer work programs of repair and maintenance, ensuring that our properties are always in top condition.
