An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, highly motivated individual to join the Resuscitation Service for a 6 month secondment as Assistant Resuscitation Officer at NHS Golden Jubilee.
As a national resource for NHS Scotland, the Golden Jubilee is home to regional and national heart and lung services, a major centre for orthopaedics and has a national role in reducing waiting times in key elective specialties.

This is a vital role for patient safety and for developing the knowledge and skills of all clinical staff.
You will be a registered nurse (degree or diploma), ODP or paramedic with recent and progressive experience in an acute adult setting e.g. Intensive care, Coronary Care, Emergency Department, anaesthetics or be working as a Resuscitation Officer. You should be willing to work towards Resuscitation Council (UK) ALS Instructor status (if not held).
You will have excellent communication, interpersonal, time management and organisational skills, together with an ability to be very self-motivated and also work as part of a team.
The applicant must have a thorough working knowledge of the current resuscitation guidelines.
